Awarded for the campaign "Spokesmen in the Dark" by Dircoms Awards

Enel Argentina won first place for the campaign “Spokespersons for Darkness. The day that Argentina was turned off ”, in the Crisis Management category, in recognition of the strategy and presentation of the information, during the blackout on June 16, 2019.

The recognition was made by the Professional Public Relations Council and the Dircoms Circle, a civil association made up of the heads of corporate communications of large public and private companies, during the #lanochedelascomunicaciones event of the #PremiosDircoms2021.

The meeting was broadcast live on Cronista.com and virtually brought together more than 80 participating companies with 110 campaigns, including participating companies in the same category as Enel Argentina: Andreani, MacDonalds, Arcos Dorados and Grupo Clarín.

Alejandra Martínez, Communication Director of Enel Argentina, thanked the jury and highlighted the work carried out that day by the entire team of the company. "We are a great team. And I am not saying this only for the team that accompanies me in Communication, but for everyone, from the workers, who were on the street, through the control center, to all those who make up the Country Committee, who acted quickly to take control and lead this unprecedented crisis in the history of our country", he highlighted.

Nicola Melchiotti, CEO of Enel in Argentina, highlighted the work of the people who worked without interruption during the crisis of June 16, 2019. “We are proud of this recognition and today more than ever we maintain our commitment to work to achieve a better quality of service and for the development of the energy sector in the country”.
