Matías López Yusti is the youngest of Ernesto Hugo López´s sons. Like his father and older brother, Facundo López Yusti, has developed and grown professionally in our distribution company, Edesur.
The three argue that, apart from a job, Edesur is their second home, their family. The father and the children say that they keep learning new things every day, and that the challenges are what lead them to work more passionately.
Matías López took the floor and told us how they feel today:
1.- How do you feel working in Edesur?
We are very happy to belong to this company.
2.- What feeling does Edesur awaken in you?
A feeling of belonging, is like being part of a big family.
3.- What changes have you seen in Edesur in recent years? What other changes would you like to see (according to your professional point of view)?
We have seen changes related to improving the quality of the service and to joining the digital era, (social networks, communication channels with the client via the web, etc.), which allows to adapt to changes within the market of large modern companies. The changes that we would like to see, and that we believe will come in the medium term (according to our point of view) are paradigm changes in the generation and distribution of energy. In fact, we have already seen trends regarding the use of renewable energies and I think the company is focused, and should focus on that.
4.- Do you identify with the Open Power thinking of Enel Group?
Yes.
5.- How do you all see yourselves in 2030? Would you still be in the company?
We see ourselves in the company. Always improving, developing as professionals (Matías: I'm already finishing my career as a Bachelor of Arts in Administration, at Buenos Aires University), I think it is a reciprocal relationship in which one can give everything of oneself, and the company gives you us as much as possible.
6.- What do you think of the Enel objective for 2050, of being 100% carbon neutral?
We think it is an excellent idea, this changing process should be as dynamic as possible, since our planet is the most precious thing we have, we should take care of it as much as we can, and this objective clearly points to that direction.
More Human

Ernesto and Facundo: We have always worked in Edesur.
8.- What does your family think of the stage we are currently going through in Edesur? How do they see the company?
They see changes that are taking place in order to constantly improve the quality of the service.
9.- Do you meet with your co-workers outside work?
Yes, all the time.
